A few weeks ago we rep0rted that a Dallas mother had attempted to sell her baby in a classified ad. We were wrong. Specifically, I was wrong. I should have said again. Yes, as in she’d done it before. No, I’m not joking.
Brittany Hill, 26, who was arrested in June, is now being investigated for another child selling incident.
Apparently, this woman has birthed four children. Three of whom are presently residing with family while mommy is in the clink, including the four-month-old she unsuccessfully tried to sell to a Florida woman. The fourth child is alleged to have been sold for, you guessed it, $4,000. Hey, at least she’s consistent with her child-pricing.
Authorities are now searching for the child, believed to be around the age of 2, and ask anyone with information to contact Dallas authorities.
I’m just wondering how this came up. Did she say, “oh, hey, btw, I sold this other kid a few weeks back.” Or did the police have to pry the information out of her?
A Child Protective Services representative said in a statement:
We’re trying to get as much information as we can from her and from relatives and following up on that information to see what we can find out. It seems fairly unusual, especially because we’re still not exactly sure what happened” with the fourth child.
Fairly unusual? Really? I think I’d classified this as pretty f-ed up…CPS, not known for their grasp of reality.

oh. good. god.
why is it shitty people can pop out babies like pez but good people often have trouble having babies at all? why?
they probably were going through her records and found more birth certificates than she had children.

You know what? I am in the wrong line of business.
By that I mean I am feeling the need to start a parent accreditation program.
