Do Your Pees And Poops

Courtney Cox is an amazing dog trainer. First of all, before we start this fiasco, can I say that Cox naming ability leave a little to be desired? Her dogs’ names are Hopper and Harley and her kid’s name is CoCo. I can’t even tell you the number of dogs I see named CoCo. I’d be pretty miffed to be called CoCo unless I was a tiny, fluffy dog and even then. However, that’s not what we’re talking about, what we’re talking about is Cox admitted, on The Ellen Show, that she took a peepee on her balcony. This is the only way she could think of to convince her dogs to use an outdoor doggy pad.

I'm a big dog!

She was trying to be a responsible mother, by not having to leave CoCo (the child, just for clarity) behind sleeping if her dogs needed to pee in the middle of the night and that’s why, I assume, she went to such desperate measures. I’m thinking some less desperate measures might’ve been tried beforehand, but who knows. I’m not sure what her process is before peeing on balconies. She’s a crazy celebrity, for heavens sake, maybe peeing on the balcony is par for the course.

Honestly, in the course of talking to people about their interactions with their animals for over ten years, this isn’t the weirdest thing I’ve heard, but I mean, c’mon! She says it worked like a charm. For future reference, a great way to transition your dog into peeing in a different spot is to take the pad to where they’re used to peeing, let them pee on it there and then move it to where you’d like them to pee from now on. Or you could just get Cox to come over and pee on it for you. Cox asks, “can I tell you how rewarding it is to pee outside on grass?” In fact, you might want to try it yourself.

Every day when the train goes by our house, Chuck says, "I like the sound of the train. Do you like it? I like it." This is what my life has become. Adults are so boring.

  1. It must be something like method acting. Too bad it’s a bad method.
