Women in Iran have found a new way to stand up against the archaic social regime that still struggles to keep them held down in subservience and oppression. No, this time it isn’t by withholding sex. That works, but they’ve chosen a more aggressive approach. It’s by becoming ninjas.
Iran’s Press TV says that over 3,500 Iranian women have signed up to take the classes and, as seen in their video above, they’re taking their classes very seriously. Women in Iran are learning everything from acrobatics, to hand-to-hand combat, to weapons skills. They even learn stealth camouflage techniques.
Now ask me how many ways I learned how to kill a man.
I suspect they’ll be getting a bit more respect from their men from now on.
All of this is, of course, good news for the women of Iran who are seeking to overcome their society’s view of female inferiority. Those in charge have been feverishly trying to hold on to the old ways and have been making it difficult for women to come out of the role that their culture has assigned them. I say, good for them! Fight the power! Stand up for your rights… Ummmm… breast is… best(?) Okay I’m not good at slogans. Whatever the case, I’m all for women empowering themselves (Especially if that woman is good at throwing shiruken)

However , I do have some concerns…
First up, Iran has ninjas. NINJAS!?!

Ninjas they’ve apparently been training ninjas for 22 years! Not only that. There are over 24,000 of them!!! Isn’t anyone else concerned by this? I mean, let’s face it, what are you afraid of more:
A) A nuclear bomb?
B) 24,000. freaking. NINJAS?
That’s what I thought. Seriously! Somebody needs to get on this!
