I know everyone should remember the awesome and dynamic rap duo known as Kid ‘n Play? Remember? The black guy and the less than black guy with the two story fro? Not only did they rap but they did those “House Party” films? Remember? The dance that shook a nation? Where you stand in front of the other person and kick your leg behind you then out in front to touch their foot, then with the other, then you lock feet together and jump around in a circle? If this doesn’t scream Yo! MTV Raps, I don’t know what does.
Ahhh, rappers.
Anyway, two story fro guy was arrested in July of 2010 for driving while doubling his legal alcohol limit. He was issued a warrant on August 2nd for missing court on July 25th. Yesterday, the law won.
Christopher “Kid” Reid, 47, was booked into the Los Angeles County Jail shortly before noon Tuesday and held in lieu of $26,000 bail.
I will ask the question that everyone reading this is wondering about this story and this case:
Kid is forty freaking seven?
