Study Shows A Connection Between Sex And Violence In Men.

Since the beginning of time, wars have been fought. And, throughout our planet’s history, we’ve had a lot of them. And it seems that all of these wars have one thing in common.

At least, that’s what a psychological study into the “male warrior hypothesis” points to.

The study, published in the journal Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B, contends that men have had a tendency for conflict hardwired into their subconscious from the prehistoric days. It stems from back when the men of the village had to defeat rivals to prove their strength, or fight off invaders to protect their land. All of this was for one purpose. To get women and keep them.

This increased their chances of reproduction, continuing the bloodline, producing your own free labor force to help on the farm (Once they get old enough to man a plow, that’s one less thing you have to do).

And of course, the most desirable women only chose the strongest, wealthiest and most virile of mates. Which left the not-so-alpha males to take what ever was left over.

Why does this sound like high school all over again?

Anyway, forget all that other stuff. It all comes back to the reproduction part. Sex! You may not know this, but men want that. A lot. As this study shows, we’re willing to destroy other countries for it. Heck! We have destroyed other countries for it. It also explains why we riot against oppression,  why men play sports like football and hockey, why we riot at these sporting events, why professional wrestling exists… the list is endless.

According to the study, women, however, have evolved a kinder, gentler approach. For the sake of protecting their children, they are said to have learned to resolve conflicts peacefully by the “tend and befriend” approach (It’s possible that one or two of the women I’ve met haven’t evolved in that direction).

So, ladies, it’s all up to you. World peace can be attained but you’re going to have to do your part towards the peace effort. We’ve seen how the threat of withholding sex can stop war in its tracks. But history has proven that trying to bring about the desired outcome through fear and intimidation is flawed and short-term.

Think how much more you can do if you through love! And all you have to do to put an end to conflict once and for all is give your man more of that sweet, sweet lovin’ and the world will be a better place. If not, the world could end up looking like this…

No pressure, but that seems like a win-win situation, if you ask me.
