We’ve been watching History Channel’s “The Bible”. The acting is not very actastic, it’s acterrible. I may come to this perhaps a little biased because Chuck is the one who’s interested in watching the show, I’m just married to him with one TV. Marriage is about compromise and laptop computers and writing articles about what a saintly wife you are. I’m not sure who you’re referring to. Me? Oh, pshaw, I’m not that saintly.
And now, Glenn Beck is comparing the looks of the character of Satan to our President on Twitter. Hmmm, how weird that he’d choose Satan. How totally odd that he’d make that connection. To me, Obama looks as much like the portrayal of Satan as he does Jesus in the show. Beck is just making controversial statements to get hits or views or whatever the kids are callin’ it these days.
I know this, but it still annoys me. I don’t know why they didn’t make the connection to the black angel in the show. I mean, he’s actually black, he’s not just wearing dark make-up. Is that why Beck felt Satan looked like Obama? I don’t understand why. The leader of our country and anybody in the public eye will always be up for negative portrayals but I think this one is just a little weak and stretches just a little far. I would find it laughable but mostly I just find it pathetic. Beck calling the President, “That Guy” also makes me want to punch him in the face. It’s weak, it’s cowardly and it’s disrespectful. That’s the thing about respect, you have to give it to get it.

Beck is an idiot fullstop. I don’t actually think the actor looks like Obama, other than he’s black and has a longish face. but the fact that the devil is black and the holy character are white does piss me off.
