A San Diego couple having their wedding inside the basket of a hot balloon weren’t expecting any wedding crashers. Their whole wedding party of 13 people were aboard that balloon as it glided near Rancho Penasquitos then Mother Nature decided to pay a visit.
A huge gust of wind caused the balloon to veer off course and fall onto a house rooftop. Not the dramatic ending that these newlyweds were hoping for. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt, only one woman has complained of back injury.
I get the desire to find the most picturesque way to have their very special day but maybe we need to keep the hot balloon ride to a maximum of 3 people, maybe four. And 13? That number is just asking for trouble.
It also was noted that it was the bride’s idea to surprise her future husband. Her future husband who is afraid of heights. Really? If you know that your partner hates heights, why would you intentionally plan your wedding in the sky??!!
If you ask me, these two aren’t starting off on the best foot. I hear wedding crashes are a bad omen, especially from thousands of feet in the air.

My wife and I went to the courthouse. The 15 people who came with us said it was the coolest wedding they’d ever been to.

hot air disaster aside, who in their right mind decides it’s a good idea to surprise a man with a wedding?

…and this guy finds out his fiancee has planned this and he still marries her? I think the crash was an omen, this marriage is going down in flames.
